Therapeutic Massage
Upon your arrival at Wellness an intake form is completed,
followed by a discussion of your goals for the session which sets the course for the treatment. All treatments are
individually tailored and, depending upon the therapist and your needs, may include techniques from: Deep Tissue

Warm Stone Massage
Astounding relaxation comes from therapeutic deep heat & massage. Smooth, polished Basalt Lava Stones are warmed
in water and applied to the body. The stones are then utilized with essential oils in a full body massage.

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy
"The deepest most luxurious massage on the planet" a western modality based upon
ancient forms of Asian therapeutic treatments. Utilizing parallel bars overhead
for balance and leverage, the AOBT therapist uses body weight to apply pressure
directed through bare feet. A smooth, flowing, gliding, technique on lubricated
skin provides an intensely deep, and amazingly relaxing therapeutic massage
experience. Clients receive anything from moderate pressure to very deep work
without the pain and discomfort that often accompanies the use of a therapist's
thumbs or elbows. This modality has been shown to be especially effective in the
treatment of low back pain; however, it is also safe and effective on almost all
areas where "hands on" techniques are used.

Affectionately known as the "lazy man's yoga," this ancient healing art
incorporates muscle stretching, compression, reflexology, and acupressure. Through gentle
rocking and rhythmic movements along energy pathways, the body opens with increased
flexibility. In Thai Massage it is not just the hands that are used to free tension from the recipient's body, but the therapists feet, knees, forearms, and
elbows as well. Traditionally given on the floor, Wellness Thai Massage has been modified to be performed on the table to heighten relaxation and maximize
comfort. Sessions are done fully clothed and without the use of creams or
oils. Please wear loose comfortable clothing, or bring workout clothes to change
into.

Reiki is a hands-on healing method using the universal life force energy
which animates everyone and is found all around us. Reiki is used to
balance and restore one's own vitality. Your session begins lying down
fully clothed. Using a series of hand placements on or above the client,
the practitioner channels the energy to all seven chakras (energy centers of the
body). Reiki is used to balance the physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual levels of the body.
In addition to general relaxation, Reiki can be used for many ailments including
headaches, stress reduction, stomach upsets, pain reduction, respiratory
problems, sinus pressure, anxiety, and many more conditions. Please
observe that Reiki should never be used instead of medical treatments; rather as
a complimentary part of your wellness program. Receiving Reiki is a very

Back Renewal Treatment
This deep cleansing back treatment refines, smoothes and relieves your tired and
stressed back. First, a stimulating brushing assists in exfoliating the
back. A deep pore cleansing is next, using a Glycolic Wash followed by a
refreshing scrub made from Sea Salts, Olive Oil & Seaweed, leaving the back
silky smooth. The relaxation continues with a massage under the warm steam.

waxing. The advantage of waxing is that it takes 4 to 6 weeks before re-growth occurs, and when it does, the hair
is finer and softer. Waxing removes the hair shaft, together with the root. This means that over time you
